PFC Power Factor Correctors

The PFC power factor corrector modules are designed to be used as a supply for DC/DC converters with 500 W or 1000 W of output power from an 100 VAC input. The PFC is an active filter, suppressing spikes on the input current and behaves like a pure ohmic load on mains. The wide input range (100-240 VAC) allows international installation without further adjustments and the modules output is 360 VDC. The device is designed following EN 61000-3-2. Both PFCs endure a test voltage of 3kV between mains input and ground for at least one minute. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MOhm and the input filters are designed to fulfill the requirements of IEC 601.
